Beyond the basics, we know that children thrive when they’re given opportunities to learn in different ways. We provide a number of enrichment opportunities throughout the year that are all a part of our program.
Here’s a sample of what we have to offer:
Kingdom Kids is our Bible Time. The children hear wonderful stories from the Bible, told in developmentally appropriate ways. Through these Bible stories, songs, and other hands-on activities, we teach our students about God’s wonderful creation, His amazing love, and His precious Son, Jesus.
FitKids is a fun and engaging way to introduce children to the benefits of healthy habits. The primary goal is to make fitness and healthy choices fun. Through engaging stories and high energy activities, our coach makes being active the fun alternative to sedentary activities. Each child attends FitKids once a week for 30 minutes.
Field Trips - While we do not take any field trips off campus, we do provide special “in-house” programs throughout the school year. Some examples are: Discovery Place, Blue Moon Puppets, Fish the Magish, The Story Lady, and many more.
Service Projects - One of the ways we teach our students about God’s love is by teaching them to love their neighbors as themselves. We reinforce this concept by participating in various service projects throughout the year. Some examples are: Helping with the Harrisburg Food Pantry, Pajama Jam, The Sam Wallace Memorial Trike-a-Thon, and more.
