You’re Invited to Harrisburg United Methodist Church’s 62nd Anniversary Celebration!

Join us as we celebrate 62 wonderful years at Harrisburg UMC with a special Homecoming event on Sunday, September 29th.

Celebration Details:

• Worship Services: 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM
  Pastor De Hillyer will deliver the message, and we’ll recognize our newest members.
• Covered Dish Lunch: 12:15 PM
  A Homecoming tradition! This year, our theme is 1962. Bring your favorite dish and enjoy a meal filled with fellowship and nostalgia.

Theme the year 1962:

Step back in time and dress in your best 1962-inspired attire! Whether you choose: Casual: Frayed bell-bottom jeans, tie-dyed shirts, work shirts, Jesus sandals, and headbands.Conservative: Slim-fit trousers, button-down or polo shirts, patterned sport coats. Vintage: Skimmed body outfits, high necklines like turtlenecks, or elegant eveningwear with low backs. You know what you wore.

Think back to events like: John Glenn Orbits the Earth, The founding of Wal-mart, The Beatles released “Love Me Do”, Opening of the Seattle Worlds Fair, The first James Bond Film released AND the most important event was the birth of Harrisburg United Methodist Church.
