Children Ministry

Our vision for Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry promotes curiosity and problem-solving in children for lifelong discipleship by anchoring them in the confidence of God’s love through Scripture and Service.

Kids' Quest – Every Sunday at 10 a.m.
Building a Christian foundation for our kids, Kids’ Quest encompasses all Sunday morning programs for children ages 0 through 5th grade.

  • Kids’ Quest Nursery: For children ages 0–2, Room #6, open from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
  • Kids’ Quest Preschool: For ages 3–4, Room #5, at 10 a.m.
Teachers: Carolee Barber & Nicole Clauser
The class includes music, a Bible story, activities, a snack, and free play.
  • Kids’ Quest Elementary: For Kindergarten through 5th grade, Room #11, at 10 a.m.
  • Kids’ Quest Worship: For children ages 3 through 1st grade, Room #13, held during the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of the month.
On the 1st Sunday, children remain in the worship service for communion.
    At 11 a.m.: Godly Play.
On the 1st Sunday of each month, Kids’ Quest Elementary gathers in the fellowship hall with their families. Children share songs and Bible verses they’ve learned and talk about the Kids’ Quest mission project.

During both the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services, Kids' Quest Worship is offered for children ages 3 through 1st grade. Children are dismissed during the service and return before the end. Our teachers and volunteers are Safe Sanctuary approved and have undergone background checks. Kids' Quest Worship is designed to prepare children for understanding and participating in the worship service.

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of fun and spiritually focused events for children. Programs include:

  • Family Bible Weekend for children in 3rd and 4th grades
  • Easter drama and egg hunt
  • Parents’ Night Out
  • Pentecost Celebration
  • Vacation Bible School

Why Children’s Ministry Matters
Children's ministry provides a foundation for children to grow in their faith, shapes their beliefs and values, creates a safe and welcoming environment, empowers them to be agents of change, and ensures the future of the church.
